Secrets of the Millionaire Mind
By T. Harv Eker
Reviewed: November 2006
Still
amazed he’s a millionaire many times over himself, Eker’s
delight spills over into his easy-reading handbook for acquiring
wealth. Or as Harv would put it: “A book to help you
get rich—by learning how rich people think!” Exclamation
point intentional. Harv writes like he speaks: direct, enthusiastically
from the hip, in everyday language and with clear examples
and lucid linking of his message.
This book had come recommended by a couple of people and
I finally got around to reading it. Once I began I understood
their desire to share it with me. This little book synthesizes
a lot of information. You can get it elsewhere- there’s
a ton of “How to think rich” type books out there.
But this book stands out because it’s easily read, easily
digested, and easily generates individual insights.
I made a huge link to an early childhood event concerning
a discussion I once overheard between my parents. I internalized
a mixed message that had kept me locked in some destructive
patterns. I discovered some interesting beliefs I hold about
myself, about money (as energy) and the concepts that support
the generation of same.
Harv gives testimonials and personal stories and lays out
17 “Wealth Principles” as well as “Declarations”
and “Actions” the reader is to actually say out
loud and do before moving on to the next principle. I did
every single one. By the end, I could feel an internal
difference. I won’t go into all that’s
happened since I read Secrets of a Millionaire Mind,
but here’s a sample: my own book is now published; I
began a radio show two weeks ago; and a 7 billion dollar company
in the US has purchased my Leadership Dynamics™ course
for in-house delivery.
Get this book and read it. It works.
